Ron Paul and the Troothers

When’s he meeting with Rosie? In the video below you see Presidential aspirant Ron Paul meeting with 9/11 truthers, and promising a bipartisan effort with Dennis Kucinich to investigate 9/11 once more… It could be a vast government conspiracy after all. Once done with this maybe Ron could move on to the grassy knoll, the Bermuda triangle, area 51, and other pressing mysteries of our times

paulron.jpghigh-priestess.jpgIf Ron Paul will meet with and support troothers, I want to know when is he meeting with Rosie? In the video below you see Presidential aspirant Ron Paul meeting with 9/11 truthers, and promising a bipartisan effort with Dennis Kucinich to investigate 9/11 once more… It could be a vast government conspiracy after all. Once done with this maybe Ron could move on to the grassy knoll, the Bermuda triangle, area 51, and other pressing mysteries of our times. Update: Since posting the vid below Ron Paul has been discussed on “The View” by High Priestess Rosie, and Michelle Malkin has an update. Continue reading “Ron Paul and the Troothers”

Pakistan Update

Some of the unrest is caused by sending the Afghan refugees home, and the government is still pressing forward on that, just as Iran did by turning out 25,000 Afghan refugees earlier this month.

afghan-demonstrators.jpgIn Kabul the Afghans are very upset about the fighting between the Pakistani Army and the Afghan Army, and they demonstrated in front of Pakistan’s embassy there:

KABUL, Afghanistan – About 1,000 Afghans shouting “Death to Pakistan” demonstrated in front of Pakistan’s embassy in Kabul Wednesday, blaming the neighboring country for some of the bloodiest border clashes in years.
Many of the demonstrators were from the eastern province of Paktia, where the fighting between Afghan and Pakistani troops killed at least 13 Afghan border guards and civilians so far this week.
The demonstrators carried banners and shouted “Death to the ISI! Death to Musharraf,” a reference to Pakistan’s intelligence agency and President Gen. Pervez Musharraf.
Afghan police wearing riot gear guarded the embassy in downtown Kabul. There were no reports of violence.
“We’ve run out of patience with Pakistan,” said Sultan Uddin, 50, from the Jaji district of Paktia. “We’re requesting President (Hamid) Karzai to give us weapons and remove the border police. We know how to deal with Pakistan.”

Mullah Dadullah’s Last Video: Terrorist Cells in US and Britain

Brian Ross at ABC reports on the video Mullah Dadullah made just 36 hours before his death regarding the training of terrorist cells in both the US and Britain

Brian Ross at ABC reports on the video Mullah Dadullah made just 36 hours before his death regarding the training of terrorist cells in both the US and Britain. More at ABC News The Blotter:

Thirty-six hours before he was killed by U.S. forces, Taliban Commander Mullah Dadullah said he was training American and British citizens to carry out suicide missions in their home countries, according to a videotape interview to be broadcast on ABC News’ “World News” Monday.

“We will be executing attacks in Britain and the U.S. to demonstrate our sincerity,” he told an Afghan interviewer, “to destroy their cities as they have destroyed our cities.”

A senior U.S. official told the Blotter on ABCNews.com that recent intelligence reports confirmed Dadullah’s claim that U.S. citizens were being trained in Taliban and al Qaeda camps.

Mullah Dadullah is known for making extreme threats, most of them have a grain of truth but are usually exagerated. I would wager that trained cells do exist both UK and US, but they are probably few.

Pakistan Update

The violence in Pakistan grows, and the opposition parties have now named the MQM shootings in the Karachi demonstrations “The May Massacre”. This, along with Musharaaf’s suspension of the chief justice, and his handling of the Jamia Hafsa affair is usurping the moderates from support of Musharaaf’s party. More demonstrations and “wheel jams” are happening across the country. ( In a wheel jam demonstrators will block an important road, crossroads or intersection for a day or more.)

Brownback Fumbles While Speaking to Cheeseheads

Senator Brownback from Kansas, presidential primary candidate and aspirant to Ronald Reagan’s shoes fumbled a football analogy today while speaking in Wisconsin.

brownbackraza.jpgSenator Brownback from Kansas, presidential primary candidate and aspirant to Ronald Reagan’s shoes, fumbled a football analogy today while speaking in Wisconsin. Maybe he just got mixed up and thought he was in Indianapolis? Who knows. One thing you don’t do when running for office is call any quarterback “the greatest” since you are bound to offend someone. Instead you say “One of the greatest quarterbacks, Brett Favre…” or “the great quarterback, Peyton Manning…” … but you still don’t talk Peyton in front of the Cheeseheads, that’s a major gaffe when trying to come off as a populist to Green Bay fans.

Mullah Dadullah Dead

The folks at Reuters are really going to miss this guy’s late night phone calls, but both Pakistan and Afghanistan are much better off without the miscreant. Voice of America reports that Mullah Dadullah is now dead,

NATO officials confirmed Mullah Dadullah’s death Sunday.

In a brief written statement NATO says the Taleban commander was killed in a U.S.-led coalition operation and called his death “a serious blow” to the insurgency.

Saeed Ansari, spokesman for the Afghan intelligence agency, says Mullah Dadullah was killed Saturday night in Helmand province.

Ansari says Dadullah was killed during a military operation, and his body has been moved to neighboring Kandahar province.

Kandahar Governor Asadullah Khalid reportedly showed Dadullah’s remains to several local journalists.

More at the Fourth Rail, Bill has pics of the corpse, and a history of Daddullah.

Mao Misfigured in Memory of Tianamen

Today a “vandal” threw a flaming object at the giant portrait of Mao on Tianamen square, and the authorities cleared the commons. It was no accident that this happened on May 13th, anniversary of the start of of the student hunger strike there in 1989.

Today a “vandal” threw a flaming object at the giant portrait of Mao on Tianamen square, and the authorities cleared the commons. It was no accident that this happened on May 13th, anniversary of the start of of the student hunger strike there in 1989. Eventually that hunger strike led to larger demonstrations, and a massacre of the dissidents by Chinese trooops. More here.

You cannot remember Tianamen without remembering the tankman, a man who will live forever as an icon of freedom.
