Fox news is reporting two new arrests by Scotland Yard in Chesire County in Northern England.
The two suspects were arrested in Cheshire, a county in northern England, in a joint swoop by specialist officers from London and Birmingham.
The total number of arrests now stands at four after police nabbed two earlier in the day, when a Jeep Cherokee trailing a cascade of flames rammed into Glasgow’s airport, shattering glass doors just yards from passengers at the check-in counters.
Police said they believed the attack was linked to two car bombs found in London the day before.
Britain raised its terror alert to “critical” — the highest possible level — and the Bush administration announced plans to increase security at airports and on mass transit.
