As previous posts here for the past months have pointed out, Social Justice, one of Barack’s favorite terms, are just code words for Marxism. He’s had a long affection for that ideology, as this article outlines well:
“To avoid being mistaken for a sellout, I chose my friends carefully,” the Democratic presidential candidate wrote in his memoir, “Dreams From My Father.” “The more politically active black students. The foreign students. The Chicanos. The Marxist professors and structural feminists.” — Barack Obama
You’ve probably already seen the videos of Reverend Wright saying “G-D Damn America!” “Ameri- KKK- A!” and in one of his worst rants blaming 9/11 on the US with his “chickens coming home to roost” statement. You’ve also seen Presidential Candidate Obama separate himself from him – but that was only because he needed to do so to run for president. Here’s a 1995 interview where you can see him extolling the virtue of Wright, ending by saying “Reverend Wright represents the best that the black church has to offer.” Is there any doubt that if McCain had a similar racist, america hating preacher that he would have been out of the race long ago?
In it you can also hear him talking about black liberation theology – he clearly understands what it is and the divisive nature of the marxification of black churches. All his protestations and genuflections to moderation, his dodges and his deflections are blown away by this interview. Indeed, you can hear him saying a similar thing to those that Reverend Wright did here.
This was 13 years before Barack conveniently condemned Wright and left his church. Black liberation theology is part of Barack’s identity, and like all identity movements based on race, tribe, or religion there is a large dose of hate for the “other”. This is racism writ large, and the black identity movement is no better than any of the other identity purist ideologies that I’ve bashed here in the past.
I voted for Ted, but that was long ago. It’s a shame that he became part of the machine in Alaska. The only brightness in this all is that Sarah Palin is vindicated by this verdict, and the Republican party of Alaska has some serious rethinking and soul searching to do.
WASHINGTON (AP) — Alaska Sen. Ted Stevens was convicted of seven corruption charges Monday in a trial that tainted the 40-year Senate career of Alaska’s political patriarch.
The verdict, coming just days before Election Day, adds further uncertainty to a closely watched Senate race. Democrats hope to seize the once reliably Republican seat as part of their bid for a filibuster-proof majority in the Senate.
With this verdict let us hope that other cases might develop over other Legislator’s homes, such as Chris Dodd’s sweetheart loan that waived charges from Countrywide, and Barack Obama’s lot addition courtesy of Tony Rezko.
“It’s a sad day for Alaska, and a sad day for Senator Stevens and his family. The verdict shines a light though on the corrupting influence of the big oil service company up there in Alaska that was allowed to control too much of our state. And that control was part of the culture of corruption that I was elected to fight. And that fight must always move forward regardless of party affiliation or seniority or even past service. And as governor of the state of Alaska, I’ll carefully monitor now the situation, and I’ll take any appropriate action as needed. In the meantime, I do ask that the people of Alaska join me in respecting the workings of our judicial system, and I’m confident that Senator Stevens, from this point on, will do the right thing for the state of Alaska.”
In this segment from NPR radio Obama is debating the best means to Re-Distribute the wealth of America – he prefers legistlative; but only because the courts would not have a way to administer it. So, when you vote for president, and when you vote for your Congresscritters, please take this into account – are you electing a Socialist whose idea of change is to destroy the engine of American productivity?
This is a case where Obama clearly calls for those who produce more to provide for those who produce little — or classical Marxism. He maintains this stance even though that form of government caused the greatest of all human suffering time after time as it was practiced last century. There’s no future for Marxism in this country, to tread that path is to retreat to the failures of last century and that’s not change at all.
From each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs. – Karl Marx
Socialists in the US have recently even expanded Marxist ideology – they have taken the luxury of having trust, or good credit, and declared it a need by extending that to everyone, worthy or not, through the Community Reinvestment Act, Acorn, and Fannie Mae / Freddy Mac. They’ve decided as well that owning your own home is a need, rather than something earned.
Bill Whittle at NRO has much more on this, and says it much better than i right here.
UPDATE:
Another classic socialist and marxist technique is to indoctrinate children — here you can see them doing just that. To me it’s absolutely despicable to callously involve children in politics as the left is wont to do, it’s just another way to steal their childhood.
