California Conservative is blogging the special election, no results yet as of 10:20 central, but check back later. I think it’s hilarious that the Republican ballots in CA are red/pink, and the Dems are YELLOW.

Just a reminder, when the dems lose the special election according to pre-election fluff they don’t really lose unless Billbray wins by >10 percentage pts. As long as they want to think losing is winning I think it’s a good idea to let the democrat election strategists continue in that mode.

Update TWO: Here’s from the CA sect’y of state, the numbers have flipped now, not a good sign, but so far these are mostly absentee ballots, it does appear that the minuteman candidate is sapping Billbray’s strength:

UPDATE III — I have to hit the hay, early day tomorrow, here’s the link to CA sect’y of State page.  One last note, remember to set IE or your browser to always load the page new, or clear your cache or you might look at cached results for a couple of hours and not realize it 😛

UPDATE IV: Ok so I’m an election junkie and I admit it…

Here are more up to date results from the county, the sect’y office is slow as molasses…

Billbray – Rep 20866  50.63%

Busby – Dem 17693 42.93%

Griffith – Ind   1859  4.51%

King – Lib         797  1.93%

So, if you add Billbray and Griffith, the stronger borders voters are outpolling Busby by >10 percent.. hrmmm.
