    Ah, gorgeous! Those white birds look like egrets, for heaven sakes. I thought they were strictly tropical.

    I think they are trumpeter swans, many birds come to Alaska for mating in the Spring/Summer, the North Slope at the end of the Dalton Highway is usually coated with nesting fowls from as far away as the tropics and South America.
