The Astros are looking pretty good this year, today they are smoking the Mets in a game where they made three DP’s. Here’s a seasonal photo for Spring. Update: The Astros won 8-0 after turning a fourth double play to end the game with a five game streak.
Many moons ago, the Houston team was the Buffalos,
a farm team for the St. Louis Cardinals. Buffalo stadium
was where they played which was right off of Hwy 3, the
Galveston road. I remember when they broke ground for
the Astrodome in 1957. The traffic in Houston is still like
flying a kamakaze….
