Orcas Island Desecration UPDATE

bomb-white-house.jpgA commenter inspired me to do some more digging, and I came across a Fox article with more information and quotes from locals. The commenter took umbrage at my observation that there are organized leftist groups in Orcas Island.

Jhelm said that putting a nazi symbol next to the peace movement was inconsistent. I am calling, and raising.

Here is a site where you can see peace marchers using the swastika with relish, just scroll down at this link. If you poke around a bit on the site you also will see code pink demonstrators with signs like “Impeach the Terrorists”, marching with 9/11 “truthers”, people with swastikas, and hamas flags. Rather Rosie-like don’t you think?

This is not a blanket condemnation of the folks living on Orcas Island, from the letters to the editor here, you can see that most are aghast and outraged over this desecration by a minority of moonbats. You can also see that several of the letter writers draw the same conclusion I have, that this was more likely done by the anti-war crowd than by neo-nazis. The Islanders do remember, and honor our veterans.

So, don’t hate Orcas Islanders, don’t boycott. They are more stricken by this than we are friends.

From the Fox article:

I didn’t see anybody,” said Resch, who told FOXNews.com that he kept watch from 12:30 a.m. to 4:40 a.m. “They’re very professional.”

Thirty-three flags had been replaced with hand-drawn swastika flags, according to the San Juan County Sheriff’s Office in Friday Harbor, Wash.

“The scale and the tenacity and the timing, I don’t think this is the work of one person,” Cumming said. “We think it’s more than one.”

Officials are trying to get physical evidence, such as fingerprints, from the paper and duct tape left behind.

The crimes have stunned this small community of approximately 5,000 people.

“It’s a small island, and I think if it’s local folks that did it, everybody kind of talks to everybody about certain things, you know,” said Pierrette Guimond, district commissioner for San Juan Cemetery District No. 3, which includes Woodlawn.

It’s the first act of vandalism to take place in the cemetery, she said.

“If people want to protest something this is not the place to do it,” Guimond said. “People go there to think about the people that went to war for their country and stuff like that. It’s a really sacred place.”

zionist_pigs_jew_devil.jpgNote that authorities think it’s an organized group. Does Orcas Island have a Neo-Nazi chapter? If so can someone provide evidence of same? If not then could you possibly add to the suspects list other organized groups who are fond of calling our troops terrorists and using swastikas?
