Blogger Sued for Reporting on Terrorism

atlas_shrugged.jpgAtlas has a story up about Bill Warner being sued for reporting on potential links to terrorism, from Atlas:

If the Muslims get away with this “test case”, it will shut us all down. The intrepid blogger and PI (and valued Atlas source) has been sued for publishing stories about Muslims with ties to Islamic terror. News stories already published in the mainstream media. Warner obviously hit a nerve. This is the next nefarious step in the litigation jihad. Warner must prevail. This has all the CAIR tactics written all over it.

The opponents of truth will fail in the end, I have faith in our country and our courts; but this is a slapp-suit. By forcing people into court and steep lawyer bills they hope to stifle bloggers. That’s just not going to happen.

Just at initial glance the suit appears to be overbroad and specifically designed to infringe Bill Warner’s freedom of speech.

  1. This is serious stuff.

I posted over at Atlas but I’m not sure she’ll put it up – basically I said that on this kind of attack on the Constitution, you go after the law firm. I posted the firm, the attorneys there and basically say, they want the spotlight of this kind of suit, then they better be able to withstand the publicity and the scrutiny. Turn this law firm inside out – find their skeletons, reveal their transgressions. Expose their client list and communicate throughout the blogosphere that this Firm is taking a stand AGAINST America and for Islamofacism. Make sure their corporate clients understand the consequences of their association with this law firm.

Bottom line, it’s shock and awe time for this Tampa law firm. We’ll see if they can stand the heat or if they wanna get out of the kitchen…err…courtroom.

  2. Very serious indeed. No new developments
    Suit has ben served

Thank you for fighting the jihad on the legal front.

Bill writes me, STILL IN THE EARLY STAGES OF THE LAW SUIT, I HAVE TILL JUNE 11th 2007 TO RESPOND TO THE COMPLAINT, STILL IN NEED OF AN ATTORNEY.
