Biden Lied

The title says it all, fourteen times, here’s one of the more egregious whoppers debunked on Tape:

h/t LGF also see “Biden’s Lies, the short list“.

Also note this from Michael Totten, who is also somewhat expert on the area:

In Thursday night’s vice presidential debate between Senator Joe Biden and Governor Sarah Palin, Biden said the strangest and most ill-informed thing I have ever heard about Lebanon in my life. “When we kicked — along with France, we kicked Hezbollah out of Lebanon, I said and Barack said, “Move NATO forces in there. Fill the vacuum, because if you don’t know — if you don’t, Hezbollah will control it.” Now what’s happened? Hezbollah is a legitimate part of the government in the country immediately to the north of Israel.” [Emphasis added.]

What on Earth is he talking about? The United States and France may have kicked Hezbollah out of Lebanon in an alternate universe, but nothing even remotely like that ever happened in this one.

Nobody – nobody – has ever kicked Hezbollah out of Lebanon. Not the United States. Not France. Not Israel. And not the Lebanese. Nobody.

Joe Biden has literally no idea what he’s talking about.

  1. Hi Thanos. Don’t know if you remember me, but I’m one of the hundreds of “fascists” banned from LGF for supporting Vlaams Belang. I just read the thread at LGF about Geert Wilders and Arieh Eldad’s Alliance of European Patriots conference in Jerusalem this coming December. Apparently there will be 30 European parliamentarians from Belgium, Denmark, Italy, the Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK attending.

I would expect that the VB and Sweden Democrats will be attending along with the Danish and Swiss Peoples Parties and the Northern League. Though you and I disagree about these parties, I remember that you are a diligent researcher into these matters and I’m wondering if you have any information about just which parties will be attending. I wonder what CJ will say if it turns out that the VB will be there?

    Sorry about the OT post,

  2. NP Jeppo, I don’t know the list yet, it will be interesting to see. I don’t have a beef with the Danish People’s party btw, they seem pretty reasonable to me. The others I do not know enough about to comment on. The Swedish Democrats have a bad past but seem to be making earnest attempts to improve their credibility.

  3. Yes, I think the list will be _very_ interesting to see. Both Wilders and Eldad seem to be above reproach to both sides of the LGF – GoV debate, so hopefully we can all get behind this conference no matter who else is attending.

  4. I don’t know if the “all’ is going to happen. VB goes and you won’t be hearing me singing any praise about it. Lega Nord, those are the separatists in N Italy? They’ve mellowed to just Devolution as opposed to Separatism iirc. It’s been awhile, and I”ve been well involved in something else of late.
