McCain Madness

john_mccain.jpgIn the latest Worldnet Daily, Anne Coulter gives scathing review of the reasons conservatives have real reservations regarding McCain. To list just a few:

  • .
  • .

.

  • McCain Feingold – a direct attack on the 1st Ammendment
  • Overplaying Abu Gharaib and torture to the direct detriment of our war efforts
  • Opposition to the Bush Tax cuts, and voting against them
  • Shamnesty for Illegal Immigrants
  • The gang of fourteen, which effectively gave control of a Republican-Majority congress to his friends in the minority Democrat party.

Indeed here’s the DNC talking points McCain regurgitated when he was originally asked about why he opposed the Bush tax cuts:

“I cannot in good conscience,” McCain said, “support a tax cut in which so many of the benefits go to the most fortunate among us at the expense of middle-class Americans who need tax relief.”

  1. As a lifelong conservative Republican (from 1964), I will never endorse McCain in voting booth or any other way. Label him whatever, this man indulges ruinously false pretenses.

Why omit McCain’s terminally foolish promotion of Gore’s egregious Global Warming scam? Absent the Younger Dryas, due to a meteor strike which extended the current interglacial some 1,500 years, Planet Earth would likely have seen Ice Time redux by the end of the Roman Empire. As for anthropogenic factors, Mount St. Helens and Pinatubo alone blasted more CO2 aloft in twenty minutes than all industrial civilization over 200 years.

  2. Well, I would still vote for him over Hillary just because I believe he would work to keep BMD going. I don’t think he will make it that far however.

  3. As a lifelong believer in the principals of the Republican Party, I watch all the current crop of aspiring Politicians and recognize none of them. I feel as though I am an alien in my own country. At age 74, having never failed to vote in a presidential election, I cannot in any good faith vote for any of the current crop. I am saddened that all principal seems to have evaporated from the American character. Truly, I will be leaving a world which I do not recognize anymore.
