Clinton Campaign of Corruption Connections

There’s also a pattern of immigrants who are criminals among Hillary’s contributors noted in links below, and another curious connection is the PAL-C or Pakistani American Link Committee that removed Rehman “Ray” Jinnah from it’s board not long after he voluntarily returned to the US to be arrested by the FBI.

In a series of articles  I’ve catalogued the criminal and the questionable Hillary donators and supporters, and The New School which has been tied to the chain by Norman Hsu and Bernard L. Schwartz. Unfortunately I’m only a part time blogger, and haven’t had time to really trench into the archeological wonder.

In a really great investigative article, Flip at Suitably Flip unties the knots:

But wait… there’s still more.  Hochberg is also a dean at the New School, where Hsu was a trustee until this scandal broke last month and the school hurriedly removed his name from their website.  Also on the New School board is Bernard Schwartz, one of Bill Clinton’s biggest financial backers and the central figure in Clinton’s scandal involving the sale of missile technology to China.

And the lily gilder:  Fred Hochberg was a member of President Clinton’s Cabinet.

Yes, Fred Hochberg, a dean at the school where Hsu served as a trustee, one of Hsu’s fellow HillRaisers, CEO of the company that officially bundled at least one of Hsu’s direct contributions as recently as this summer, and the apparent architect of Hsu’s favored candidate slate, was installed as one of the country’s senior-most federal policymakers by Bill Clinton.

Hochberg was tapped to become the SBA’s deputy adminstrator in 1998 and some time thereafter became the acting administrator.  The SBA administrator is not a current Cabinet-level position.  Clinton elevated the position to Cabinet rank, a move Bush has undone.  Not long before his executive appointment, Hochberg had enjoyed another kind of another kind of Presidential access, as a member of Clinton’s bescandaled “White House Coffee” guest list.

Al Qaeda Declares War on Pakistan

Ayman Al Zawahiri and Osama Bin Laden are beginning to feel a pinch. They are now declaring war on Pakistan. Make no mistake in this – even though they state it’s a war on Musharraf, these “unholy warriors” will be killing hundreds to thousands of devout Muslims in their attacks; hundreds of Pakistani Army troops have died in the frontiers of Pakistan fighting their evil.

Confessions of a Repentant Taliban

Hanif Hanifi has seen the face of evil awalk in the mountain passes and caves of Afghanistan, and he wore that face himself for 12 long years. Brutality takes a toll from anyone who still has a heart, a mind, a soul – and finally Hanif recognizes what a true Mufsiduun is – he has just to look in the mirror

Brutality takes a toll from anyone who still has a heart, a mind, a soul – and finally Hanif recognizes what a true Mufsiduun is – he has but to look in the mirror. [Ed: Mufsiduun, Evil worker, unholy one.]

Hanif fought with the Taliban for 12 years before he turned away from them. After that they came hunting him and killed his brother in his stead when they couldn’t find him.

The Taliban have drifted so far from their original cause that they have become the evil they started out to fight. By their unholy butchering of women, children, and civilians, how can they say they are better than the godless communists they originally banded together to fight? They now have turned into drug lords, clawing to hold onto the opium lands in the south. They are all paranoid with good cause as most of the tribes have turned against them.

Bin Sagging in Polls

The real reason for the Al Qaeda media blitz is revealed. Osama Bin Laden, Al Qaeda, and their causes are sagging in the Islamic world. Their political arm, Hizb ut Tahrir, recently held a series of rallies to try to rebuild the flagging support, but as people are seeing the face of the Mufsiduun who would be caliph, they are finding the slogging hard.

The lightbulb went on six months ago or so that Al Qaeda and other Muslim Brotherhood aligned extremists have killed more Muslims in the past six years than all the coalition forces combined. Continue reading “Bin Sagging in Polls”

MSM Finally Covering Pakistan

As Pakistan goes, so will the Islamic world. They are not the leaders, but the bellweather. If they are able to transition from Military rule back to Democracy and true parliamentarian government it will be a great sign.

For quite a long time I’ve been covering events in Pakistan with only an occasional story or two in the US mainstream press. It’s heartening to see that our papers are beginning to realize the strategic and ongoing socio-political import of our relationship with Pakistan, and it’s great to see our MSM finally covering events of import there. As Pakistan goes, so will the Islamic world. They are not the leaders, but the bellweather. The Future of UAV Combat

The future of UAV combat was decided yesterday as the attempt by the Air Force to control all UAV’s was vetoed. There were good arguments and reasons on both sides of the debate, but now we know the way it is.

x_47b_uav.jpgThe future of UAV combat was decided yesterday as the attempt by the Air Force to control all UAV’s was vetoed. There were good arguments and reasons on both sides of the debate, but now we know the way it is. Defense tech’s been covering this, the two articles that will bring you up to speed are here and here.

One of the beautiful things about blogging is how the “blogmind” corrects all errors. In the comments section of the second article a reader points out that some UAV’s are more than remote controlled — they are essentially robotic, and can fly without guidance or assistance in some cases.

That is the future — at some point you will want capability for one “remote Pilot” to fly or guide five or six of these.

Nepalese Standoff Over as Prachandra Quits

True to form, the Maoists did quit the government after their demands were not met

In Nepal there was a tense stand-off as the Maoists threatened to leave the government unless the monarchists were completely cut out of future government. Koirala and the 8-parties want to go with a constituent assembly, which is reasonable. If the country is to have a future all must participate in that, to leave any out is to create disaffected and disenfranchised groups — a sure formula for future strife.

More at Malaysia Times:

Kathmandu, Sept 18 : The leaders of four main political parties in Nepal, including Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala and Maoist Chairman Prachanda, are holding a meeting here in a last ditch effort to break the political stalemate over the Maoist demand for declaring the Himalayan nation a republic ahead of the Constituent Assembly elections.

The Maoist demand for abolition of monarchy ahead of the election has been rejected by the Government. The Maoists have threatened to quit the Government if their demand is not accepted.

Koirala rejected the Maoist demand saying declaration of Nepal as a republic before the Constituent Assembly polls would not get legitimacy and popular mandate.

The meeting commenced at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar Tuesday morning in an effort to persuade the Maoists against quitting the government and launching agitation.

The Maoists have planned a mass meeting later today to announce their withdrawal from the Government and launch an agitation after the deadline for declaring Nepal as a republic ended on Monday night.

CPN-UML General Secretary Madhav Kumar Nepal and NC-Democratic President Sher Bahadur Deuba are also attending the four-party meeting.

CPN (Unity Centre) General Secretary Prakash, who is mediating between the Maoists and the top leaders of seven other ruling parties, is also participating

True to form, the Maoists did quit the government after their demands were not met:

KATHMANDU, Sept 18 – Just four and a half months after joining the government, the CPN-Maoist has quit the government as talks held among the major parties at the Prime Minister’s Residence at Baluwatar Tuesday morning to convince the former rebels to stay in the interim administration ended inconclusively.

All four Maoist ministers—Krishna Bahadur Mahara, Dev Gurung, Hisila Yami and Khadga Bahadur Biswokarma—tendered their resignations to Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala today as a crucial meeting of the top leaders of the four major political parties– the Nepali Congress (NC), CPN-UML, CPN-M and NC-D– held at Baluwatar this morning failed to convince the former rebels not to quit the government

Al Qaeda Update

zawahiri-dajjal.jpgThe mainstream press is beginning to figure out that Al Zawahiri is running Al Qaeda. Several articles are out this morn with leads of “Osama Sidelined“. That’s been the case for a long time as was noted here last year when Zawahiri announced the formation of the new Shura council.

The articles state that zero high-value AQ targets have been captured in the past year, which isn’t quite true as several captures and kills of upper level operatives have occurred. Notably this capture of the AQ leader in Iraq responsible for the death of the Sheikh Abu Reesha who led the Anbar Awakening purge of Al Qaeda.

Afghan Army commandos have been doing a fine job as well, recently capturing an AQ operative who had contact with Azzam the American (Adam Gadahn,) and who was responsible for leading fighters and groups between fronts in Afghanistan and Iraq by crossing through Iran. He’s been transported to Guantanamo.

Al Qaeda’s promised Ramadan offensive has begun in Iraq, with three separate bombings, killing 17 – 27 depending on whose report you go with. For now I will stick with AFP’s 17 since they tend to vette stringer reports from the fronts better than the UK papers and News agencies. Continue reading “Al Qaeda Update”
